West End Entertainment Ideas for Your Event

June 26, 2019

When it comes to putting on an event in London, many event planners look to the West End to see what their client might enjoy. From singing to dancing, music to magic, London’s theatre scene provides the perfect platform from which to discover new and unique ways to stage a show and if you are feeling inspired, you might well seek to find out which West End talent we have available for you!

Emma Hatton

First up we have a bonafide theatrical superstar! Not only has Emma Hatton played the lead role in both Evita and Wicked!, but she has also appeared in West End classic We Will Rock You and is currently performing in a summer season as Grizabella in Cats at Kilworth House. Now that is quite the resumé! If you would like to book Emma Hatton for your event, she is more than happy to sing a set of hits from the musicals followed by a genre set of pop or jazz as required. A fabulous option for your West End event.

ToneAcity

We love a bit of ToneAcity! We have utilised their expertise for numerous events in London and across Europe, such is their talent for bespoke choreography and musical performances. Essentially able to offer a medley from virtually any musical around, we had them perform a Mary Poppins set in the Natural History Museum that is still talked about years later. Be it Chicago, Cabaret or something completely different, the ToneAcity will be more than happy to offer singing and dancing at your event.

Phantom of the Opera

Who doesn’t love a bit of Phantom of the Opera? Andrew Lloyd Webber’s world famous musical has been in London’s West End since before I was born (I know, I know…) and we can put together a bespoke performance using genuine West End performers for your event. We were delighted to put this performance on at the Natural History Museum in 2015 and truthfully, there are only a handful of events since that have close to matching it. What a spectacle!

Le Gateau Chocolat

The divine Le Gateau Chocolat is a legend of the drag circuit and has been appearing in the hugely entertaining Le Soirée for years alongside numerous appearances in his own shows at Soho Theatre and even a stint in Twelfth Night at the Globe Theatre. Now that’s what we call a true entertainer! An absolutely stunning performer, we think Gateau might very well be the person to take your event to the next level.

Pete

Okay, it’s stretching the term West End but if we can’t promote some of our favourite acts sometimes then what is the blog even for? One of our favourite magicians, Pete, is set to perform his own show at the Edinburgh Fringe this year and we think you’d be a fool to miss it. Not only is he hugely in demand after being namedropped by Jude Law on The Graham Norton Show(!) but he is also a terrific magician to boot. Catch him at the Gilded Balloon throughout August and then book him for your event afterwards. You won’t regret it!
