Waterhouse Way, A New Event Space at the Natural History Museum

November 07, 2016

We love it when one of our most popular venues opens up a new events space for everybody to enjoy. No matter if you’re looking to hire a space for a private party or booking a corporate event, adding another fabulous area to celebrate your special occasion is never a bad thing! All of this brings us to the Natural History Museum and their Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition.

Not only has the 52nd Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition opened its doors this year, but the brand new gallery space in which it has housed can also now be used for private hire opportunities from January 2017. Whether you’re looking for a place to have drinks, a corporate dinner or a reception, Waterhouse Way is a stunning area to be utilised for any event!

As you can see from the photos, the area features gorgeously structured Romanesque arches that call to mind the similar architecture found in Hintze Hall, a space where we have put on all manner of entertainment from Phantom of the Opera to Mary Poppins and even a Steampunk Event earlier this year! Waterhouse Way is another area of the museum that will be suitable for a number of different options when it comes to entertainment to hire for an event, but do check with us first!

As well as being able to enjoy some of the finest wildlife photography taken in the past twelves months, Waterhouse Way is also home to some of the most complete fossils of prehistoric sea animals in the world. In addition, guests can enjoy drinking and eating in the company of a Giant Sloth, which has to be seen to be believed. It really is a truly unique space and we cannot wait to take our first booking for this fabulous space.
