After seeing off competition from a host of hopeful Double Duchesses, Merlin Events’ Kate Factor Winner Nicola Maher emerged victorious earning herself a contract with Sternberg Clarke. Before Nicola had a chance to catch her breath she was already booked in for her first Royal Engagement at the offices of Destination Management Company Wedgewood.
The guys and girls from Wedgewood had themselves won a competition run by those generous folks at Merlin Events who offered a chance to win a Pimms Reception in the office complete with muscle-bound shirtless waiter serving drinks.
To get our new Princess Katherine lookalike into character for the event, she was booked in for an appointment with the real Kate’s hairdressers - The Richard Ward Hair Salon in Sloane Square - for what’s been lovingly termed a ‘Chelsea Blow-dry’. Once suitably primped and preened, Nicola/Kate made her way to Wedgewood’s offices to meet the team and also have a quick chat with our Beloved Leader Adam Sternberg who gave her a few tips on being a lookalike and how to work best in the events industry.
