Our Director of Sales and Marketing, Adam Sternberg, is taking part in the Blenheim Triathlon for Scarlett’s Dragons, a charity that raises money for leukaemia and lymphoma research and we’d love you to donate to the cause!
In June 2011, Scarlett was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Lymphoma (ALL) aged just six years old. The most common form of childhood cancer, it affects around 500 children in the UK each year with treatments lasting between two to three years. While prognosis is good, around 20% of those children will go on to relapse.
In the case of Scarlett, it was September 2013 when she was told that the cancer had returned. Now 10 years old, she has been having cancer treatment for almost a third of her life. The news has recently come that she will also have to have chemotherapy for a further year.

In an effort to raise funds for leukaemia and lymphoma research, Scarlett’s Dragons has done everything from marathons to mud runs. Last year, there were 22 athletes running in aid of the cause at the Blenheim Triathlon and this year, there will be 200. For the first time ever at Blenheim, there will be a whole wave of athletes decked out in pink and turquoise, all dedicated to running and raising money for Scarlett.
Adam Sternberg is just one of these 200 people who will be raising money for this very special charity on June 13th and we’d love for you to donate to this cause. We in the office are behind him and to further reinforce our support, we will be giving £2 from every booking in May towards his efforts.
