In this next trip through 'the Sternberg Clarchives, we revisit the ever popular Summer Exhibition Preview Party at the Royal Academy of Art. To give guests a sneak preview to the largest open contemporary art exhibition in the world, the Royal Academy put on an annual preview party that attracts a sveritable who’s who of the London art scene as well as a few art loving celebrities.
For the event, we provided a wide array of brilliant acts intended to complement the art works on display. New Orleans Jazz Trio, Silk Street, were on hand to recreate the laid back, shuffling Dixieland jazz of the 1920s and 30s in their expertly chosen costumes. Silk Street are always a fun and energetic way to welcome guests into an event and are a great way to create a playful, informal atmosphere.
Comedy cabaret sensations String Fever gave guests a taste of their interactive, hilarious show proving exactly why they’re such a sought after corporate event act. With their unique sound and frenetic cabaret act, String Fever earned howls of laughter from the audience who clearly enjoyed evey minute.
Another cabaret favourite graced the event in the shape of the all singing, all dancing Scales of the Unexpected who twisted and turned a selection of pop hits into their own high energy barbershop style with utterly hilarious results.
Rounding out the entertainment were Sternberg Clarke’s long-serving purveyors of chilled out ambient music Organic Jam featuring a mix of Trumpet, Sax, Percussion and flamenco guitar, all improvising to a backing provided by one of our expert DJs.For more information on booking any of these acts for upcoming corporate events, get in touch through our contact section.
