We've recently uncovered some pictures from a few years ago from Chinewhite's 'Rock the Polo' event at the Cartier International Polo back in 2010 and thought, wouldn't it be selfish to just keep them locked away in the file library? Decided that yes, that would be selfish and whipped out the tortured 'Clarchives' pun and made it into a blog.
The event, held at the Guards Polo Club, celebrates the Hurlingham Polo Association's Coronation Cup and has long been considered the pinnacle of the polo calendar with Royalty and Celebrities enjoying with some of the best performers around.
We've provided a number of acts for the event over the years (you can take a look at our Carnival Horse from last year right here) but for 2010, we supplied a dazzling aerial act and some unique classical music to create an evening guests were sure to remember... until the following year with that carnival horse.
First up, classical background music was provided by our Harp Quartet, featuring some of our finest musicians. A Harp Quartet makes for an arresting and visually striking choice for background music at an event - audiences are always pleasantly surprised by the rich sound created by this foursome.
Elsewhere, our aerial performer Natasha (a member of circus cabaret act Serenity) donned a glittering leotard received a face full of silver make-up for a spellbinding aerial hoop performance. Using a hoop suspended from the roof of the marquee, Natasha had the undivided attention of all of the guests as she twisted and turned gracefully in the air.
If you're interested in booking our harp quartet or Serenity for any upcoming events - get in touch.
