The Sternberg Clarchives: Canon’s Cologne Cabaret
June 03, 2011
This week we’re delving deeper into the Sternberg Clarchives and blowing the dust away from a few of our older events… “Is that a spider?” No it’s a Halloween Booking from 2003 … Etc
For this corporate event for Canon in Cologne’s prestigious Maritim Hotel for 450 guests, our client wanted to create the feel of a 1930′s cabaret club with a variety of circus, music and dance performances throughout the evening.
We put together a bespoke entertainment package featuring various stage acts incorporating Canon’s red and white corporate colours and logo where possible.
A 9-piece Big Band performed the stings and background music between performances, aerial silk duo Serenity performed a choreographed piece, Hoop La La did their tongue in cheek hulahoop routine complete with 1920s art deco inspired costumes, top vocal harmony trio The Puppini sisters performed in beautiful vintage dresses, our 6 piece dance troupe performed a specially choreographed piece featuring The Charleston, The Can Can, tap dancing and roller-skating, and for the grand finale, light jugglers Feeding The Fish pre-programmed their LED batons with the Canon logo.
If you’ve got an event that you’d like to turn into a vintage Cabaret Club… or anything else, then get in touch!.
