The Christmas Triple Threat: Santa, The Christmas Elf and the Chillusionist

December 16, 2011

At Sternberg Clarke, there are a few things it just wouldn't be Christmas without; shimmer curtains over the toilet doors, arguments about secret Santa and about a jillion Christmas DJ Bookings to name a few, but in the last few years there's one act that says Christmas more than carol choirs, elves and even Saint Nick himself; Jack Frost The Chillusionist. Asking our Jack Frost Chillusionist to perform near a radiator proved to be a "Thaw-ney issue"

Our costumed magician has been an office favourite for years now (he recently made an appearance in our Top 5 Modern Christmas Ideas) and he was on hand to wow guests at a corporate event in the Serpentine Gallery. Despite his icy manner, Jack Frost was too polite to give guests the cold shoulder, instead delighting them with a selection of seriously cool close-up magic tricks. (And with my 'Mr Freeze Book of Ice Puns' exhausted, I'll move on)

Interestingly, the lights flash orange when she walks backwards
The Chillusionist wasn't the only act at the Gallery  that evening, elsewhere we provided the Christmas Entertainment Dream Team of Kriss Kingle and his Christmas Elf. Taking up position next to a beautifully decorated tree in the Gallery's specially made Grotto, Santa and his helper handed out gifts to those who had been sufficiently 'good' throughout 2011. Which was most of them. Outside, our LED flag dancers gave guests a warm welcome in beautifully detailed illuminated tutus.

'To Thine Own Elf Be True' when it comes to performance times or else she'll miss her last bus home.
