Sharing the (Common) Wealth: The Commonwealth Club

February 28, 2011

As a Wedding Wolf myself (Garreth, these names really are getting ridiculous) The Commonwealth Club simply shrieks “Weddings!”(in an excited, Bride kind of way)… “Weddings!”... The different rooms available present a wealth of options; whether you are going to for a simple ceremony with close friends and family or an all out party that people will be talking about for years, The Commonwealth Club is a great option and definitely worth a look. Not only are the spaces perfect for weddings and celebrations of varying sizes, the décor is also a blank canvas for the Bride and Groom to put their stamp on it and make it their own. Clever use of lighting and a few props combined with the minimalist but strikingly modern rooms can give the space a range of different looks. Take a look below for an example of what can be done with the room.

We've done a lot of work with themeing and decor in the past especially for weddings, so we always enjoy working with a space like the commonwealth club due to the options it affords an entertainment agency such as ourselves. Another plus is that pretty much any act can work in a space like this when combined with the right 'look'; from sleek and modern acts to traditional entertainment, there are more than enough options for weddings and events.

Searcys, the privately owned catering company are now providing The Commonwealth Club with a stunning menu from high tea through to mouth watering banquets for up to 800 people. Searcys also work with other stunning venues around London such as 30 Pavilion Road and The Gherkin (another two of Sternberg Clarke’s favourite venues)

We look forward to working with them soon!
