LCV Choir, Dancers & More @ SIBOS Closing Ceremony, ExCeL London

October 04, 2019

You may have already seen the incredible dance that opened SIBOS at the ExCeL London. Using lightmapping technology, it was a true sight to be hold and impressed everybody in the room. Alas, all good things must come to an end and when it comes to the annual SIBOS conference that means a huge entertainment extravaganza. Without further ado, let’s see the incredible entertainment that we provided last week!

Kicking off the closing ceremony was a thirty-strong team of singers from London Contemporary Voices. One of the finest choirs that the capital has to offer, they have performed concerts at the Union Chapel and appeared with Imogen Heap in events gone by, so you can imagine the quality that was on display during their fifteen minute performance.

With SIBOS being in the UK for the first time in a long time (it travels around the world each year), organisers wanted to implement a few British figures that guests would recognise. Step forward James Bond, Blofeld and Oddjob! Three wonderful lookalikes that brought their famous characters to life, we were thankful that all three managed to put their differences aside and pose with conference delegates as required.

Also in attendance we had a number of different dance troupes and musical options with the steel pan drummers proving to be particularly popular with guests. There’s just something about the unique sound of the steel pan drum that has everybody tapping their toes in time to the music. Guests were also able to enjoy contortionist Hannah who was recently seen at sister company Trevor George’s showcase. One of the most impressive contortionists in the UK, there are some moves that only Hannah is able to do!

Was that all? Absolutely not! Still building on the British theme, the Royal Footmen were also spotted with guests. Hilarious interactive comedy entertainers, they are a unique form of strolling entertainment that anybody can enjoy as these photos show. Don’t go thinking they were the only Royal-themed entertainment at the ExCeL either, with the likes of The Queen, Harry Potter and Mr. Bean also in attendance!

What’s a party without music? The answer is that it isn’t a party at all! That’s why we booked Earthlights, a twelve-piece function band and Freight Train to deliver the epic DJ beats for which they’re best known. Surely there was no room for any more entertainment? Almost… We also booked a Mini Cooper photo booth and a Best of British photo booth to keep everything on theme.

Phew! What an incredible event SIBOS was; a week’s worth of activities and entertainment at the ExCeL London that you had to be mad to miss. We cannot wait to return to this fabulous blank canvas venue to see what our next clients have in mind.
