What do you get when you combine four fabulous acts, an incredible venue and an evening of fine dining and dance? The answer is Cabaret Night at the Hurley House Hotel, which featured some of our finest acts. If you think these photos look good then you’ll be delighted the next event will be in November. Marvellous!
The Hurley House Hotel, located just outside London in the village of Hurley – as the name suggests – is lucky enough to house a sensational environment for a cabaret evening and we were only too happy to help! For the bargain price of £95 guests were treated to not one, not two, not three but four of our best acts as well as dining and dance thrown into the deal. It really is a wonderful way to while away a few hours and enjoy some of the finest acts from the capital.
First up were The Wild Tonics, a close harmony trio that elegantly bewitch the crowd each and every time they perform. Absolutely sparkling from the stage, the three ladies jauntily ran their way through a varied repertoire of hits old and new, all sang in their classic 1920s style. In their own words, they are ‘big, sexy and unpredictable’ and it was clear that the guests in attendance that evening would heartily agree!
Next up were one of London’s most reliable cabaret acts of the past decade or so! How does one describe String Fever? A sensational string quartet, the four men take it upon themselves to segue seamlessly from the classic standards to playing music in a variety of styles and, most crucially in a variety of ways; as one can see from the photos, they all end up playing the cello at the same time in what is a truly hysterical and mesmerising piece of entertainment.
When it comes to cabaret, it’s all about the charm and charisma of the act performing. In Bounder & Cad, we are delighted to have found an act that will have everyone in tears of laughter within the first five minutes as the duo run through their own versions of well-known songs. Replacing the old lyrics with humorous lines that are guaranteed to have you smiling, there’s a reason that Bounder & Cad have been the entertainment of choice for numerous MPs.
Our final act of the evening was undoubtedly the most famous of the line-up. He’s toured the UK on a number of occasions, came Runner Up in Britain’s Got Talent and even has a range of magic tricks available in all good toy shops and supermarkets. Yes, Jamie Raven was the headline talent for our Hurley House Hotel cabaret night and as you can see from the photos, the audience were stunned by his magical miracles. Calling the act amazing doesn’t seem to cut it!
It was truly a wondrous evening of entertainment in Hurley and we cannot wait to return in November. Interested in booking a ticket? Please feel free to pop over to the hotel’s website for more information.
