It seems only yesterday that we were at the V&A with some Pink Floyd-inspired entertainment and on Tuesday night we were back again with some rather more traditional options. With our client looking to host a beautiful dinner, we laid on some entertainment that went perfectly with the museum and will no doubt me remembered for many months to come.
When guests arrive at a party or event, it’s important to set the tone and ensures that the smiles start before they even enter the main atrium! Sometimes corporate clients achieve this by having somebody from the company meet and greet attendees before sending them in the direction of a drink or two. That being said, there are other ways and we absolutely loved what was laid on here with some fully costumed Grenadier Guards suited and booted for the arrival of those lucky enough to be on the guest list. We were lucky enough to catch their personality in these fab shots, which give some idea as to how cheeky this meet and greet act can be.
Celebrating the namesakes of the museum, we were also happy to provide some costumed characters of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert! Always a welcome idea at any event, historical figures often help to imbue the occasion with a sense of gravitas and are perfect photo opportunities. If you’re looking for snaps for the company scrapbook then this is the way forward. Not only could you have an official photographer on hand to take photos of everybody in attendance, but you’ll find many guests will take their own shots and upload them to Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, showcasing the wonder of any event.
The final entertainment act that had been booked for the evening was the astonishing Helen on piano. The centrepiece to this event, she played background music for the guests and was situated in a prime position inside the V&A. We absolutely adore the photo that headlines this event because it really does go some way to showing just what an extraordinarily sumptuous evening this was. A true treat for all concerned.
As ever, we cannot wait to return to the V&A and hope to have many more events to look forward to before the end of the year.
