Recent Events: Tokyo at the Science Museum

January 07, 2013

Happy New Year! We’re back from our Christmas Break with renewed excitement and enthusiasm for all things entertainment. Look, we’ve already got a blog about one of our brilliant acts performing at a corporate event – almost as if the pictures were from last year but someone didn’t get around to putting them up...

Function Band Tokyo play an electrifying mix of 80s tunes and modern pop songs with an 80s influence. Their focus on the synth-heavy pop and rock of yesteryear helps set them apart from their peers as they offer those old enough to remember the era the chance to revel in nostalgia, but also allow guests to simply enjoy the band’s retro take on party music if they missed the decade the first time around.

The band took to the stage at a recent technology conference which took place at the Science Museum in December. Tokyo proved the ideal way for guests to cut loose after the serious business of the event and their angular, electronic pop covers were a brilliant fit for the venue.

You can hear more from the band on their website
