Freight Train, Wandering Hands and Acro Felipe at the Natural History Museum

July 10, 2013

As venues go, they don’t come much more spectacular than The Natural History Museum and for event planners putting together a corporate event at the iconic venue, it’s important to make full use of the space available. Obviously that goes for entertainment as well; the best events use acts that compliment their surroundings and add to the atmosphere of the evening. This recent event featured a number of our most popular performers to spectacular effect in the museum’s Central Hall.

DJ duo Freight Train teamed up with a number of live musicians to provide music during dinner. With a DJ booth set up at the top of the stairs along with a percussionist, the other musicians were able to move up and down the steps and roam around guests while performing. Featuring Saxophone, Violin and Classical Guitar, our live music and DJ collaboration brought together the thrilling feel of live performance with the kind of versatility only a DJ can provide.

Also making full use of the space provided were strolling acoustic trio Wandering Hands who entertained guests with their ever-expanding repertoire of cover versions during the drinks reception.

Finally, guest’s attentions were drawn to the stage where world renowned acrobat AcroFelipe performed his astonishing ascending handstand show. AcroFelipe has proved a huge hit this summer, particularly when paired with one of the musicians from The Recitalists, but proved just as captivating as a one man show.

Take a look at some more pictures from the event below.
