Circus Show at the Park Plaza Westminster

March 14, 2014

Some event trends come and go but the classic Circus is one theme that never seems to go out of fashion. We recently recreated the electrifying atmosphere of an old fashioned Big Top circus for a corporate event at the Park Plaza Westminster showcasing a mix of acts and costumed characters to give guests the ultimate circus experience.

Our Circus Ringmaster in Action at the Park Plaza WestminsterThe event gave our outlandish Circus Ringmaster Barnaby another evening in the spotlight as he donned his immaculate costume, twirled his moustache and took centre-stage to introduce an evening of spectacular performers. Adding to the carnival atmosphere were our strolling Stilt Walkers who greeted guests as they arrived. Our circus themed raffle ticket booths featured ticket sellers in clown inspired costumes and make up created especially for the event.

AcroFelipe's Handbalancing act The venue had been transformed in to an opulent circus tent for the evening and once guests had taken their seats they were treated to a thrilling line-up of high energy stage acts. The magnificent AcroFelipe (who’s appeared countless times on this blog) drew audible gasps with his dizzying acrobatic handbalance display before acrobatic dance troupe Barely Methodical leapt and tumbled through an energetic routine set to a backing track.

Feeding the Fish at the Park Plaza WestminsterPixel Poi jugglers Feeding the Fish created a glowing flurry of patterns and images using their state of the art LED juggling technology adding a high tech twist to proceedings before the raffle was announced using a pair of jugglers to decide the prizes by tossing numbered balls to the winning ticket holders. After dinner, guests were invited to try their hand at a range of carnival games including a coconut shy and the high striker while they enjoyed music from DJ Duo Freight Train.
