At a time of year when most of us are piling on layers of coats, jumpers and scarves (and probably a few pounds... for insulation) it’s worth sparing a thought for those who make their living by being professionally unclothed at corporate events and private parties, namely Body-Painted Models. This unique twist on living art is one of the most versatile and ‘theme-able’ acts on offer for events and our models have been in high demand over the past few months.
Braving the elements armed only with nipple tape and a twinkling smile, our body painted models have made appearances at some of London’s most prestigious venues for clients both corporate and private. The key appeal of body painting is that the models can be themed to fit any colour scheme or motif, particularly handy around Christmas Time when themes are plenty and guests expect something a little different from the usual corporate entertainment.
In the past we’ve had body painted models painted to suit a Chinese theme, to welcome in the British Summertime, to reflect the ‘Steam-Punk’ aesthetic of Martin Scorcese’s Hugo, in the style of famous paintings and a host of other styles. But outside of events, plenty of advertising and PR agencies have used body painted models in creative ways to sell a brand or a product. Combining a product with the human form is a good way to reinforce ideas like strength, form and ergonomy (which is apparently a word).
