A recent corporate event at an iconic London landmark gave us a chance to introduce rock royalty to regular royalty... or at least we made it look like we did. Our Queen Elisabeth II and Prince Charles lookalikes took their places alongside Fab Four tribute act The B-side Beatles at Tower Bridge for an evening of entertainment that showed off the best that Britain has to offer... or at least things that look and sound like the best that Britain has to offer.
The B-Side Beatles’ stripped back take on the hits of Liverpool’s most famous export was the perfect fit for a venue like Tower Bridge - capturing the spirit of early Beatles performances whilst remaining compact and uncomplicated, the band slotted in effortlessly to the drinks reception on the tower’s walkway. The group’s modern take on Beatles hits is perfect for guests of all ages with a repertoire that everyone recognises, perked up by the quartet’s lively, youthful energy.
On the flip-side of the British-entertainment coin was a lady whose face is all over them and her son who’d very much like to be – our Royal Lookalikes went down a storm with the overseas visitors who jumped at the chance to have their pictures taken with the mock-monarchs. Once again, this was a brilliant fit for the venue, giving guests the chance to take in the stunning views of the capital whilst enjoying the company of some typically British acts.
