You’ve booked the venue (great choice by the way), you’ve told everyone to save the date by sending a magnet (my fridge has never made me look more popular) and now you’re trying to work out how to make your summer wedding the best it can be. But there’s so many things you’re having to think about that you feel lost. And your friends don’t know anything about weddings. Fear not. How about London’s leading entertainment supplier helps you out? Does that sound good? We thought so too.
There’s nothing like some al fresco entertainment. And the way global warming is going, there’s only going to be more of it. Here are a few acts at the very pinnacle of the outdoor entertainment world, which could also be great for your May Day party this afternoon (bit late to book now, mind.) For a bit of fun, we’ve decided to include the usual music acts but also a few people of whom you may not be aware.
One of the most popular acts on the events circuit, Wandering Hands are an eclectic trio that can meander through your guests, playing songs as they go. Perhaps you’ll pick a tune from the past or a modern classic? They have no idea which one you will choose and it’s this spontaneity that has proven Wandering Hands to be a fantastic choice for any occasion. Always happy and always fun, they are the perfect trio for your summer wedding.
Dan – Magician
One for the dinner party and reception, Dan the magician will absolutely wow your guests! He’s performed for some of the most prestigious companies in the world and always provides a light and friendly approach no matter the occasion. Most recently, we dressed him as a Mad Hatter for an Alice in Wonderland-themed event as you can see above; we predict he’ll again provide the wonder that will leave your wedding party desperate for more!
Steel Strum are a new and exciting duo made up of steel pan and acoustic guitar, with bass drum and tambourine, who perform their own arrangements of popular music. Coming to your wedding direct from prestigious venues around the UK including the Royal Albert Hall, they’re sure to be an eclectic addition to your big day.
Carousel is a stunning act, which is also available for a winter theme should some sort of delay lead to your wedding going ahead six months later than planned. A revolving freestyle aerial rig upon which perform two multi-skilled acrobats with silks or hoop, the summer garden theme is perfect for a wedding in the sun to greet your guests as they arrive or as a background entertainment performance during the drinks reception.
Just as good as you imagine them to be, Living Topiary are what entertainment is all about. A wonderful sight for guests before or after the wedding, they’ll no doubt be suitably impressed upon seeing the human-shaped hedges. Imagine their surprise though when these human-shaped hedges turn out to actually be hedge-shaped humans, freely able to wander around your venue!
