Three Little Maids are a musical trio composed of Kate, Alex and Jen, three well-bred fillies specializing in 1940s-style close harmony singing. With a set of delicious and delicately- spiced songs – those familiar, those familiar-with-a-twist, and those as fresh and unweathered as their bonnie complexions – they create their own curious brand of cabaret with added je ne sais quoi.
Their programme is straight, gay and all shades in between – a feast of show tunes, jazz and pop, all stamped with the Maids’ unforgettable, unexpected, unforgivable allure and smattered with impersonations of our pick of heavenly chanteuses, some boisterously accurate, some barbarically barbaric and some, frankly, just silly.
They are a Motley crew and pride themselves on the cosy and casual rapport they share with their audiences. Similarly, their dashing pianist, Leo, is an integral part of the act, suffering much outrageous, on-stage flirtation at the hands of the Maids.
With their maverick wit, devilish charm and harmonies as tight as Leo’s gluteus muscles, you’re in for a light-headed, light-hearted evening of cabaret fun!
