The Symphonics are a vintage-style vocal swing ensemble featuring some of the country’s finest young jazz musicians. An all singing, all swinging heart of the party, they get everyone on the dance floor to Lindy hop, Jive and boogie the night away. In stunning three part harmony, backed with scorching horns lines and a rip roaring rhythm section, The Symphonics not only hark back to the Golden Age of Swing with music from the likes of Benny Goodman, Louis Prima and Louis Jordan, but also play the occasional chart hit in a vintage swing style.
Definitely a force to be reckoned with, The Symphonics’ members have collectively played for and supported such artists as Gary Moore, Taio Cruz, Pendulum, Damage and The Streets, played prolific venues such as The 02 arena and Ronnie Scott’s, worked in the studio for labels such as Warner brothers and Mercury records and performed as session musicians on TV shows including the X-factor.
