Ray Gelato is the UK’s foremost exponent of swinging good-time jazz - an entertainer and saxophonist of the first degree. He has performed privately for Richard Branson, Paul McCartney and the Queen amongst others and Robbie Williams requested Ray opened for him at his “Swing When You’re Winning” concert at the Royal Albert Hall.

Following in the footsteps of Louis Prima, Louis Armstrong & Cole Porter, Gelato has been getting audiences jumpin’ & jivin’ since he picked up the saxophone in the late ‘70s. He has recorded several albums as both a leader & sideman, but it is in his live performances where his energy really comes to the fore.
