Ollie Ollerton is an ex-marine and former member of the SAS who has featured on numerous TV programmes. A former special forces soldier, Ollie's career in the armed forces began at just 18 when he joined the Royal Marines as a Commando. Tours of Northern Ireland and Iraq followed and upon his return to the UK, he was recommended for SAS Special Forces Selection. From 250 people that started the course, Ollie was one of just 7 men to be chosen, whereupon he joined the Special Boat Service (SBS).
Ollie's missions for the SBS included counter terrorism, hostage rescue and homeland security. Upon leaving the special forces after six years, he worked as a private security contractor for American TV crews in Iraq and has additionally worked across the Middle East and South East Asia.
He has since come to prominence in the UK for his appearances on Channel 4's SAS: Who Dares Wins, where he instructs and directs civilians through numerous gruelling tasks that are based on the Special Forces Selection process.
