Martin Talks is a serial entrepreneur who founded digital agency Blue Barracuda in 2001 and spearheaded the growth of the agency to over sixty staff based in London and Tallin, producing award-winning work for over forty leading clients including eBay, T.G.I. Fridays, the UK Film Council, Roche Pharmaceutical and Pizza Hut across all digital disciplines.
Before establishing Blue Barracuda, Martin spent several years working in venture capital and was Commercial Director of dotcom success story ADVFN.com which he floated on AIM. Blue Barracuda was acquired by Draftfcb in May 2011, with Martin taking on the role of President of Digital, UK after the takeover. Two years later, Martin returned to his entrepreneurial routes and founded Matomico, helping business with digital transformation.
Martin provides inspiration and consultancy to help companies and their people be future proofed and thrive in an increasingly digital world. He is a regular keynote speaker at global events, in webinars and on television (BBC, Sky, Channel 5). He is a Digital Trends expert for Google and also provides advice to a range of companies and organisations around the world.
