Fiona Bruce is one of the top presenters working in television today having won the Television and Radio Industry Award for Best Presenter on three separate occasions. She has been or currently holds the position of presenter for some of the top BBC programmes over the last twenty years’ including the BBC News at Ten, BBC News at Six, Crimewatch, Antiques Roadshow and Fake or Fortune?
In 2019, she took over from David Dimbleby as the presenter of the hugely popular weekly current affairs programme Question Time and is consistently involved in presenting special events for BBC One. Throughout her career she has covered the Royal Wedding, interviewed numerous members of the Royal Family including Prince Philip and Prince Charles and anchored the BBC’s General Election coverage, the first female presenter to do so.
In addition to her work presenting primetime programmes, Fiona has also proved herself a talented writer of both books and television; Savvy!: The Modern Girl’s Guide to Doing It All Without Risking It All was published in 2008 whilst for television she has written and presented a three-part series about the Royal Palaces as well as presenting numerous one-off documentaries whose subjects include Leonardo Da Vinci, Queen Victoria and Bill Gates. Furthermore, she received critical acclaim and a number of awards for BBC One’s investigative documentary series Real Story with Fiona Bruce.
