Daryl

-

Percussive Guitarist

Daryl is one of a new wave of percussive guitarists. Taking influence from the likes of Tommy Emmanuel, Andy McKee, Jon Gomm and even roots of Flamenco, he uses his acoustic guitar to create drum-like sounds to accompany the more conventional pitched notes. In addition, Daryl uses elements of jazz to create his own unique style. This technique has since become one of the central elements of his playing style.

Playing both instrumental and vocal arrangements of popular songs, Daryl would be a contemporary and slightly different option for weddings, drinks receptions or background music at parties; offering unique interpretations of popular songs such as Bohemian Rhapsody, Superstition and You Can Call Me Al as well as numerous Jazz Standards and his own compositions.
