Chris Cox knows what you’re thinking. You’re thinking, who the hell is Chris Cox? Well it’s a good job you’re reading this. He stars in Chris Cox’s Mind Boggling Magic (CBBC) and the award-winning Killer Magic (BBC Three). In short, he’s a multi-award winning 'mind reader who can't read minds'.
Chris is a unique force in the world of mind reading having played three West End seasons, 22 sold-out shows at Sydney Opera House and in winter 2019 he will be starring on Broadway. He stars in the World’s biggest magic show The Illusionists – Direct From Broadway (London’s West End, USA, South Africa, Mexico and Australia) as well as Impossible, which played on the West End as well as a world tour. He’s also written and performed 5 critically acclaimed Edinburgh Fringe Festival shows, 4 solo UK Tours, 2 extended sell-out runs at the New Zealand International Comedy Festival, won 2 Edinburgh Fringe Awards, a Best Comedy Show award and a heap of 5 star reviews.
Chris has been seen on your screens with One Direction reading their minds at the BBC Music Awards. He’s also appeared on America's Got Talent , Heston Blumenthal’s Recipe For Romance, Now You See It, How TV Changed Magic, The Secret Of Star Wars and The Mentalist Revealed. Not only that, he was part of a BAFTA-nominated team who brought magic to the BBC's Merlin.
Chris Cox has performed at Shakespeare's Globe, Latitude and the Reading & Leeds Festivals. In theatre, he has created magic for Barnum , Dan & Phil’s Amazing Tour Is Not On Fire, Dan & Phil’s 2018 World Tour and for Heston Blumenthal and The Fat Duck Restaurant where Chris is a creative consultant.
He is the writer and producer of Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine The Musical, The Matt Edmondson Show, Dan & Phil's Guide To Happiness and The Story Of Tim Minchin all for BBC Radio 1. Chris is also the Magic & Illusions Assistant for Harry Potter And The Cursed Child Parts 1 and 2.
