We are the leading supplier of entertainment for corporate events, weddings and private parties and there are a few things we pride ourselves on:
Our experience. 18 years of the stuff, we’ve picked up a few skills along the way.
Our knowledge. Of entertainment and venues - if an act exists we know about it - if it doesn’t, we’ll create it. We have in depth knowledge of all our venues. We are a recommended supplier of entertainment at hundreds of venues and more Unique Venues of London than anyone else.
Our act quality. We are proactive in sourcing new acts and have a rigorous audition process.
Our staff. We see them as our greatest asset. As well as being helpful and knowledgeable, they are a creative bunch who don’t just book acts “off the shelf”, they offer innovative solutions, adapting acts to suit each client’s requirements. They will also, when possible, oversee the event to co-ordinate the entertainment.
Need more convincing? Ask us to put together a detailed proposal for your event. Or better still, we’ll come to you and present our ideas (and you get to meet our lovely staff in the process). Last minute enquiries, weird and wonderful briefs, celebrity bookings. You name it, we can do it. We love a challenge!
May we take 60 seconds of your time to introduce our lovely Sternberg Clarke team. We are a friendly, dynamic, creative mix covering various areas of expertise including hospitality, comedy, jazz, classical and popular music and musical theatre.
Adam worked at a London Ad agency before cofounding Sternberg Clarke with Duncan in 1995. His favourite bookings are ones that involve opera or musical theatre, loves strong coffee, a good pun (and a bad one) and is terrible at accents but has a go anyway.
Favourite act: Organic Jam
adam@sternbergclarke.co.ukDirector Duncan was educated at New College Oxford and now deals with Sternberg Clarke’s accounts and contracts. Coming from a musical background, Duncan was formerly the resident pianist at a number of top London hotels. His interests include Baroque music, anything to do with large Hadron colliders, M theory and relational databases. Although popular all month long, Duncan is particularly popular on 28th of each month (payday). He also has a serious addiction to Galaxy chocolate.
Favourite act: Stellini
duncan@sternbergclarke.co.ukSince joining Sternberg Clarke in 2003, Jane has worked on hundreds of large scale events, film premieres and many many high profile corporate events and private parties including The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition Preview Parties (since 2006) and Cartier Rocks (China White enclosure at The Polo) to name but a few. She has a huge love of silly things in general and loves making up acts that previously didn't exist. Roller-skating, neon body-painted drag artists anyone?
Favourite act: Ballet Pole
jane@sternbergclarke.co.ukFavourite act: The Strumpettes
Garreth takes care of Sternberg Clarke's Blog and Social Media presence as well as handling entertainment bookings whenever the mood takes him (which is usually when they involve writing sketches or trying on costumes). His passion for pun-riddled picture captions is only surpassed by his love of quality knitwear.
Favourite act: The English Gents
Samantha is our Speaker and Presenter expert as well as dealing with theming and costuming enquiries. One of Sternberg Clarke’s longest serving employees, she is the font of all knowledge when it comes to gourmet cooking and London bus routes (in a non train spotter/anorak way).
Favourite act: Nina Conti
samantha@sternbergclarke.co.ukBen joined Sternberg Clarke in 2010 following his degree at The Royal Northern College of Music. He now deals with corporate bookings for clients such Lloyds TSB, Ernst & Young and The Wallace Collection. His areas of expertise include classical music, jazz, folk music and milk frothing (though we are yet to receive bookings for the latter). In his spare time, Ben plays the keyboard in a rather brilliant band called Feldspar and is pretty apt at putting Garreth’s face on celebrities’ bodies using Microsoft Paint.
Favourite act: Swift Harp Quartet
ben@sternbergclarke.co.ukThe youngest member of the Sternberg Clarke family, Hayley is in charge of our residency entertainment and assists Alice with her wedding enquiries. Organised and meticulous, she likes nothing better than colour coding things on her desk, putting little yellow post-it notes everywhere and organising work nights out. She is also excellent at baking, overreacts at magic tricks and is the (not so proud) owner of the loudest sneeze in the world.
Favourite act: Jamie Raven

Sophie joined the Sternberg Clarke team in September 2011 having studied Linguistics with Philosophy at York University where apparently she 'knew Charlotte, but didn't know her that well'... An avid dancer, Sophie brings her all-encompassing passion for limb waggling to bookings for clients such as Brand-Rapport, Goldman Sachs, The Paralympic Committee and Age Uk. Sophie went to the crossroads and sold her soul for a phenomenal Brownie recipe which she kindly shares with the team - but as a result of the trade, she has no reflection.
Favourite act: Bhangra Dancers
As well as the venues we are proud to work with regularly, we also supply entertainment to a variety of other clients: events organisers, caterers, florists, PR agencies, experiential marketing agencies, corporate companies as well as many private clients, brides, grooms and wedding planners. Here are just some of the clients we’ve worked with in the last 12 months:
